Team NuGo was established in 1999 when two people with shared interests in outdoor activities and food science met in college. Since then, it has evolved into a team focused on road, casual, cyclocross, and gravel racing, so long as the broader cycling community can agree that “racing” means “paying to participate in a scheduled event” so that “on at least this day we will get exercise”.

Inspired in 2021 by a realization that equipped with shelf-liner and a utility blade, nearly anyone could screen print a team jersey, Team NuGo formalized into NuGo cycling. The rest, as they say, is history.

The team has doubled in the last decade, expanding the category of racing activity to span Men’s, Women’s, and kids of any category. Now, a squad of 4 active racers call NuGo Cycling home. We have cowbells, homemade jerseys, and ibuprofen. Let’s do this.
